Deadlifts, Just Deadlifts

Warmup: Good general treadmill/bike/rower warmup first. Full PVC Pipe warmup, then practice "Good Mornings" with empty bar - 20 reps.

Deadlifts: 7/7/5/5/3/3/1

Post 1RM. Compare to Nov 29 or Oct 7. Mar 16

Dessert: 5x20 yrd sprints, 5x40 yrd sprints.

    Dessert - 4.something on the 20's (did get a few high 3.somethings) and 6.something on the 40's

  2. Love those deads.

    Altered the workout a bit, superset triple reps of Italian twists with 30 lb dumbbell between deadlift sets (21/21/15/15/9/9/3). Lifted the DB to eye level moving side to side. No dessert.

    Single rep deadlift was 298 lbs (bumper plates here are combo of kg & lbs).

    1 mile - 9:15
    6 rounds plus the burpees of the seventh
    I do love being at sea level...what's next Jarrod?

    P.S. The fitness center has treadmills, elipticals, dumbells, benchs, some weight machines, and the world's smallest medicine balls.

  4. John- Great on the core, lifting the dumbbell a little higher good idea! We did 2x2 min sit-ups day before, so decided to hit that CP pathway a little more with some sprints.

    Bre- Nice job! Thats leaves you in the top % for the bootcamp group! Not Many people got over 5 rounds. So lets see, next workout? So Im thinking a good dumbbell workout follow this link. http://youtu.be/yZxWzwS8K5I Might have to copy and past in url but a good one. DB clean and thrusts! play with the weight and feel it out but push yourself don't forget the burpees:) .
